Ozzano dell’Emilia, 17th May, 2007 – Bologna and Moneteau, in France, have been brought together by means of a successful alliance in the sector of shopping areas and points-of-sale, ever since, in 2000, the HMY (Hermes Metal) group, international leader in establishing sales areas, became part of CNC Ambientazioni e Arredi of Ozzano dell’Emilia, through a joint venture that gave rise to HMY Italia.
It is an alliance between two leaders that has further strengthened CNC’s competitiveness. For twenty-five years, that have recently been cause for celebration, CNC has continued to specialize in interior design and architecture for all distribution channels: from large-scale distribution – with customers like Carrefour and Conad – to specialized distribution – from Sephora to Fornarina, Unieuro to Upim – to up-to-the-minute catering. With four plants (Ponte Rizzoli in Ozzano, Bellocchi in Fano, Colonnella in Teramo and a branch in Poland), today CNC is the leader of a group that closed 2006 with a turnover of 27 million.
Thanks to the alliance with companies specializing in the various work stages, CNC offers its services to customers as a general contractor, dealing with all the project and realisation stages: surveys, design, planning, installation, customization, scheduling, logistics, budget cost analysis.
“We see ourselves as a structure that has grown alongside its customers, whom we offer a wide range of services: not only retail fittings and design, but also creative design, graphics, industrial drawing, structural and technical studies, after-sales services” explains Serafino Curia, founder and chairman of the company.
It is a competitive group which the French giant HMY has decided to join, setting up its own base in Italy, in the Bologna region. HMY has a presence all over the world, with production plants and commercial networks, and in 2006 made a group turnover of 406 million Euros. It has a workforce of over 3,000 employees.
