Wednesday November 7 at 2 pm the Europauditorium - Palazzo della Cultura (piazza della Costituzione 4) in Bologna will host the meeting for presentation of the new Community Network of the Public Administrations of the Emilia-Romagna Region , the interinstitutional network for the production of public services on line and the dissemination in the regions of the solutions developed, in the name of sharing resources, technologies and skills.
The conference will also be an opportunity to present the Program Agreement between the Government and the Region for the development of broadband services throughout the Apennine section of the region, to equip areas and citizens excluded from access to on-line services with the essential technology.
From making broadband service available everywhere in the region to creating a network and system among the organizations at all institutional levels: the range of solutions made available by the Region in the sphere of the on-line Plan for 2007/2009 (PitER) with a view to closing the digital gap and developing innovative services on the Lepida network is already vast, and many more are awaiting implementation. The emphasis is on the technological aspects of the infrastructural system and applications.
Local governments and the Emilia-Romagna Region are ready to establish a Community Network based on the sharing of services and standards for interchange and cooperation. It is a strategy that will lead to more investments for the growth of the Lepida network in the metropolitan area (Metropolitan Area Network), so as to enable the local offices to take advantage of the web and the services available now and in the future.
Later, the Workin' Theater will present Rosso, Nero & Azzurro , a theatrical performance on cooperation in the Public Administration promoted in the sphere of the Icar project (Interoperability and Cooperation on network applications between the Regions) that involves sixteen regions and one independent province. Three acts and a fairytale describe the birth of cooperation on applications. From the construction of the web infrastructure to the definition of common languages, with a view to interoperability.
