The region of development
The incentives and the services
Informative tools for territorial marketing
A territory served by a dense network of services and infrastructures but with settlement costs in line with those of Italy’s major cities, which are among the lowest in Europe and the industrialised world.
Labour costs in the region are in line with labour costs throughout Italy, which again are lower than those in other European countries. Furthermore, the high standard of training available in the region gives rise to a plentiful supply of specialised personnel with well-developed skills. And in keeping with the region’s strong tradition of social co-operation, relations between employers and employees are managed in accordance with production requirements on the one hand, and the rights of the workforce on the other.
Prices are already accessible in the region’s provincial capitals, but can be considerably lower still, without compromising on convenience and cost-effectiveness, in the provinces themselves, which are well served by railways and motorways and connected with the region’s main airports and transhipment ports. Some areas also offer further incentives for businesses choosing to locate there.
