A dynamic network of bodies promotes the competitiveness of local areas, develops new businesses, strengthens existing businesses and attracts investment from both Italy and abroad.

The transfer of skills and administrative simplification – which are now highly advanced in Emilia-Romagna – assigns to local bodies (provincial and municipal authorities) a range of functions for developing the local economic fabric,  promoting and updating infrastructures and safeguarding the environment.

In operational terms, ERVET works at regional level, backed up by local development and promotion agencies, which provide the local interface with the network for the promotion and attraction of new investment.
